Apollo Motorhome Holidays is a division of Apollo Tourism & Leisure Ltd (ATL). ATL is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and is a multi-national, vertically integrated manufacturer, rental fleet operator, wholesaler and retailer of a broad range of recreational vehicles, including motorhomes, campervans and caravans.
The Apollo Motorhome Holidays suite of rental brands has been created to cater for the needs and budgets of our customers, including our flagship brand Apollo, value brand Cheapa Campa, and youth brand Hippie Camper. Apollo is dedicated to world class customer service and great rates.
People
Apollo was founded by Gus and Carolyn Trouchet in 1985. Since 1997 and 1998 respectively, sons Luke Trouchet (CEO) and Karl Trouchet (CFO) have expanded the business significantly, initiating international expansion to New Zealand, the USA, Canada and Europe. Apollo remained family owned and operated until November 2016 prior to listing on the Australian Stock Exchange. Apollo is still led by majority shareholders Luke and Karl Trouchet, and as such, management is both financially and personally invested in the business

Our Australian depots are located in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. US RV hire is available from our branches in Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, New York and Orlando. Our network extends across Europe and includes branches in Hamburg (Germany), Paris (France), Dublin (Ireland) and London Heathrow, Birmingham, Edinburgh & Belfast in the UK.
Vehicles
Enjoy absolute confidence when travelling in a vehicle from Apollo’s modern fleet. Apollo branded vehicles in Europe are on fleet for a maximum of two years, and are always maintained and serviced to the highest industry standard. In Europe, Apollo’s motorhomes and campervans are built by leading German manufacturer Weinsberg to our exacting standards.

At Apollo, we constantly endeavour to reduce our environmental impact and promote sustainable business practices. In addition to our Green Stamp and Greenfleet membership, Apollo is currently developing an environmental plan, "Apollo Envirocare", to help preserve our planet for future generations.
